When Moonlight’s Magic Touched the Oak
Long ago, before anyone lived near the edge of the Woods, the Hollow was quiet and ordinary. Then one night, the full moon rose bigger and brighter than ever before. Its silver light poured through the branches of an ancient oak, settling into the bark until the whole tree glowed like a lantern.
The woodland creatures gathered beneath it, watching in stillness as the moonlight carved a soft spiral into the trunk. By morning, the glow had faded — but the spiral remained.
From that night on, the oak carried a gentle magic, whispering courage and comfort to any creature or child who needed to hear it. And the place where moonlight touched the tree was given its name:
Moon Hollow — the home of the Whispering Oak.
