Welcome to Moon Hollow!

I'm so glad you are here! I grew up in a world where emotional support wasn't always easy to find. As a sensitive child, I often had to navigate big feelings on my own, and I learned early how isolating it can be when you don't feel understood. But I also learned the power of small acts of love, the importance of safe adults, and the quiet strength that grows inside a child who keeps going.
Motherhood showed me just how deeply unhealed wounds shaped the way I showed up for my children. I strive every day to become the steady, nurturing presence I once needed. That transformation has changed me. It softened me, strengthened me, and taught me that healing is always possible - for children and adults alike.
A big part of my inspiration today comes from my grandchildren. Gia, my granddaughter is one of those beautifully sensitive, deeply feeling children - the kind who sees the world differently, who carries a quiet light inside her, and who sometimes struggles to feel understood. I see pieces of my younger self in her, and pieces of my children in her too. Writing for her reminds me why stories matter so much. Children like Gia and her brother, deserve worlds that honor their tenderness, their imagination, and their courage.
Moon Hollow is the world I wished I had as a child - and the world I want Gia, and children like her and her brother to have now. A gentle, magical place where feelings are welcomed, sensitivity is celebrated, and most importantly, every child is reminded that they are never alone.
I write for the quiet kids, the tenderhearted kids, the kids who feel different, and the kids who carry more than they should. I write for the parents and teachers who want stories that comfort, empower, and help children trust their own inner voice.
Everything I create is rooted in compassion, honesty, and the belief that every child carries something extraordinary inside them. My hope is that when a child opens one of my books - whether it’s Gia or a child I’ve never met - they feel seen, safe, and a little more connected to their own inner magic.
